Hello. I see that the Best of Germany tour has nothing organized while in Munich. Has your guide arranged for a group activity at nearby Klöster Andechs, by chance? Thanks.

If you're going to be in Munich, reserve time before or after your tour to see more of Bavaria. Munich is a great European city.
My daughter and I went to Oktoberfest last year--in Helen, Georgia. It was the first place in the U.S. that I found Andechs beer--Nectar of the Gods produced by The Brothers. The city is maybe 45 minutes SW of Munich and it's a real old time German beer hall.

Andechs is awesome ... huge outdoor deck, sat outside with the family on a gorgeous spring day in June 2009, gnawing on a haxn and guzzling a doppelbock dunkel.

I recommend Nymphenburg Castle, an easy tram ride from the Excelsior hotel in Munich.
