Berline hotel - debate between 3

Debating between Adina Hackescher, Kastanienhof and the Hilton. I know they are all different- we are looking for good transport (very important) to basic tourist sites, good restaurants, clean hotel with helpful staff, and good wifi.

Just can't decide. Haven't seen any recent reviews for Hotel Kastanienhof.

Will be using points, and all three of these are currently available.

Thanks for your input!

I stayed in Hotel Kastanienhof in June 2015 on a RS tour. Rooms were spacious and clean and breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. It is located in the Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood, a part of the former East Berlin. I enjoyed being there in that area because of the area’s history. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is on a tram line and a few blocks from the train station, I don’t remember the name but it is a major one.

All 3 places are very touristic.

Gendarmenmarkt is may be one of the nicest places and very central. If you choose the Hilton do not miss to get a good coffee in Hamdi's Einstein Kaffee on the opposite corner.

Hackescher Markt is directy located near the main S-Bahn axis - good for access to public transport but could be louder in some rooms. Vivid restaurant scene but nearly tourists only.

Kastanienallee is shopping and eating - also a lot of tourists.

I stayed at the Adina Hackescher this June in a one bedroom apartment and it was great for my needs. Close to the S Bahn, trams, short walk to the 100/200 airport bus, short walk to mueseum Island. Hotel staff were helpful, spoke excellent English, wifi was fine and having a washer and dryer in the bathroom was a bonus. Lots of restaurants close by. I didn’t find it noisy.
