What is the best way to get from Berlin to Krakow. Flying is out. I see a 8 hr. bus ride and several trains. How is the bus trip and I welcome other suggestions. Thanks
Hi,
The good thing about that bus trip Berlin to Krakow is that it's at night and direct. You leave from Europaplatz outside of Berlin Hbf.
Just curious, but why not just fly, with Air Berlin non-stops (1+30) for $54?
There is also a daytime bus, as you know, Jim. I believe the buses have reclining seats, as advertised for another route but that would still make trying to sleep on an overnight bus pretty similar to sleeping on an airplane.
Great that the DB bus has reclining seats, which I wasn't aware of, just like practically all of the CNL night trains within Germany. If there were a CNL night train Berlin-Krakow, I would definitely take it, arriving early in the morning. But the DB night bus with its reclining seats fits the bill for me very well.
