We are planning a trip in April/May 2024 and will be traveling by train from Berlin to Fussen over a month or so. Cities we are planning on seeing are Berlin, Potsdam, Leipzig, Dresden, Prague and Nürnberg. We know that’s a bit of zigzagging, but we are fine with that. We are wondering if there are any cities/towns (accessible by train) that we should try to see either as we travel, or as day trips from the cities listed. (Don’t worry about how long we might/or might not stay in a city. We’ll figure that out, although open to suggestions of how long we should allow in any particular place). We’ve already visited Bamburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Munich and Regensberg.
We enjoy history, architecture, hidden gems, and nature. We are not nightlife people.
