My train to Amsterdam next month was cancelled by DB. I had a direct train booked (no changing of trains) and my seats were chosen. I was able to rebook but with a change of trains and an additional couple hours of travel. My question is are my seat assignments still valid on both trains? My reservation shows my new itinerary but no new ticket was issued. It just shows my old ticket. Confused .
Find the tickets of your new reservation in the app and check if there are seat reservations mentioned on new valid tickets.
Seat reservations are normally connectionnumber and day specific.
Thanks Mark, there is no new ticket issued. I did not receive an email from them saying the train was no longer available but happened to check my journey segment on the app and saw it there. There was a message saying my ticket was valid on any train and to choose my alternate which I did. Maybe best to ask someone at the train station directly?
