Berlin private tour/guide

I’ll be in Berlin while on a cruise in early June and will only have about 4 hrs to tour Berlin. I would love recommendations on a private tour with a company or private guide. There are 4 of us for now but we may end up with 6-8. We would need transportation from and to the train station.

From main station you can also use commented HoHo buses first to get an overview of Berlin.
Based on specific interest you can book an expert or tour for a special topic if there is time left.

If you are interested in history you can also do an own walk supported by multi-awarded Berlin History app.
Data connection / roaming needed.

Tip: you can book every S-Bahn station on your Deutsche Bahn ticket, e. g. Berlin-Alexanderplatz for walking back to main station (Hauptbahnhof). In this case you do not have to care for an extra public transport ticket to get to/from there. This option is not a general free transport ticket for Berlin.

A good self-exploration tour for a few hours is shown here. After Reichstag just walk back to Hauptbahnhof. Translate with DeepL.

I would try to get Holger Zimmer who is a RS tour guide but also a local guide. We had him for the RS Germany, Austria and Switzerland tour in 2017 and he set the bar for any and all future guides for us. He’s based in Berlin. Just Google him. 🙂

Get in touch with "Jeremy, the Berlin Expert" or Lee Evans, or Insider Tours.

Not sure about going on a ho ho bus in a city like Berlin. You end up sitting in traffic and the recordings are often not synced with what you are looking at.
