I wish that we had more time to spend in Berlin, but in order to see everything we want we have to split our time between a few attractions. Since we are going in off season the hours for the Olympic Stadium only have English tours at 11:30am and the Zoo is open from 10-5. One good thing is that they are along the same U-Bahn line U2 so only one train to get from point A to B. Since the Zoo opens at 10 we could start there and then take the U-Bahn to the Stadium for the 11:30 tour and go back to the zoo. Does the Zoo allow in out privileges the same day? I realize that time will be wasted commuting but otherwise something will have to be skipped. If this was summer the hours would be longer and it would work out better. But in late Fall that is not the case. Is it possible to do in the same day? We are fast walkers and no children.
Looking at the zoo site, it is not clear, but the combination ticket with the zoo and aquarium is not possible:
'Can a Combi-ticket for the Zoo and Aquarium be used on different days?
No. The Combi-ticket only allows access to both the Zoo and Aquarium on the same day, and without you being able to leave the premises.' ( http://www.zoo-berlin.de/en/your-visit/faq )
However, you can write and request an answer here: http://www.zoo-berlin.de/en/contact
