Berlin Museum Ticket Question

Hello,
I'm trying to interpret the ticketing site for the museums in Berlin. We would like to see the Pergamon and Neues Museum. (Ticketing Link) I just picked a random day for pricing information so I can make my decisions. From what I see, Pergamon is 19 euro and Neues is 12 euro. But can anyone explain the MuseumInsel Regular? It's only 18 euro and I'm wondering what this covers. It says "Museumsinsel regular On Mondays this ticket is only valid for Neues Museum, Pergamonmuseum €18,00" And we are going on a Monday. So, it would seem that I could save 13 euro by buying this option. It seems too good to be true. Am I misreading this?
Thank you for your time,
Jenifer

I believe this refers to the one day Museum Island pass described on the Visit Berlin page. The pass covers Pergamonmuseum, Neues Museum, Altes Museum, Bode Museum, and Alte Nationalgalerie. Only the first two are open on Mondays. So yes, I believe you would save 13 euro by buying the pass instead of separate tickets. If you're planning to be in Berlin for longer than one day, you might consider the three day museum pass which covers more museums (including the two you noted). I used this on my visit to Berlin and it penciled out for me.
