I had to cut one day from our time in Berlin and now will only have an evening and a full day to tour the city. I will be there the Saturday and Sunday of the Berlin Marathon. My question is whether there are sights that we could visit Saturday evening, such as the Lincoln or Jefferson Memorials in D.C? Perhaps a cruise on the river, assuming the sights are lit, or the Berlin Wall Memorial. On Sunday we are considering a tour of the Berliner Dom and we already have tickets to the Reichstag for 6 pm the same day. Thank you!

It's always helpful to know how much light you will have. Sunset is 7:03 pm on Sept 23.

There are several things to see along Unter den Linden, but I don't know how preparations for the marathon will impact that.
