Berlin apart/hotel advice

Looking for advice for choosing a reasonable apart-hotel or at least a hotel room with refrigerator and microwave or coffeemaker for 7 or 8 nights in Berlin. We need: location convenient to transportation and walkable to some museums, shopping, restaurants, supermarket, etc.. We do NOT need: daily housekeeping, spa, pool, fitness center, or other "luxuries." Citadines looked good, but saw an another forum that location was not great. Considering Adina Hackescher Markt. Would appreciate other suggestions. Thank you!

Adina Hackescher Markt is expensive - so not matching your question for cheap food. Two cheaper options mentioned in your other post.

I would try Booking.com and enter your criteria. An Apartment may be your best bet. You didn't say what your lodging budget per day is, so Booking may be your answer. Also, you can find food reasonable all over Berlin from fast food to markets, etc. I will say of all my trips throughout Europe, food is one of the least expensive items. It is the most controllable expense.

Do not try to rent a full apartment in Berlin. 80% of rents are not legal. They can disappear between booking and arrival. Not valid for co-living (room or bed only).

I am only considering apartment-hotels, not private rentals. Trying to decide now between Adina and Frederics, both near Hachescher Market. (Because I asked about budget food options in another thread does not necessarily mean I want the cheapest hotel!) Adina is slightly more expensive but offers a full kitchen in the basic price; at Frederics only the refrigerator is included in the cheapest rooms and kitchens are extra. Anyone with experience of either of these? Thank you!

I'll be staying at Goodman's Living in the Charlottenburg area, in late September. It is within walking distance of the train and very near the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Schloss Charlottenburg. You can get a room with a mini fridge, microwave, induction cook top and a dishwasher.
I used Hotels.com to find it.
