Hi,
Is it better to taxi, Uber or take the train from Berlin airport to Hilton Berlin? Are transfers involved if we take a train?

Since the airport is a ways out of town, suggest taking the train to Alexanderplatz, then a taxi from there.
You can put your journey into Google Maps and see the options including public transport options
I'm not sure of the current status of Uber in Berlin. In late 2022 we used the Free Now app and that summoned a taxi.
A taxi from the airport to the Berlin Hilton is going to be 50+ euros. I highly recommend the train to at least get you to Alexanderplatz, but it's an easy change there if you want to take it all the way to your hotel. If not, taxis should be plentiful around there.
If you opt for the train into the city, make sure you buy a ticket that covers zones A, B & C.
Taking the train all the way to your hotel could involve one or two changes.
I like the suggestion of taking the train to Alexanderplatz and then either a taxi or order an Uber or Bolt for the rest of the way.
If you are feeling adventurous, you could just transfer to the U-2 subway at Alexanderplatz to Hausvogteiplatz and walk 2 1/2 blocks to the Hilton. A ticket from BER airport is 4.40 EUR per person, either to Alexanderplatz or Hausvogteiplatz.
Train recommended. See instruction on hotel website.
