An thinking of taking a break from the UK to Berlin, I am slightly disabled, not being able to walk long distances and up steps :-( I usually book special assistance and with one exception I have always received excellent service being taken by wheelchair and ambilift to the plane, and then being taken to the correct place for meeting my transport buy the Special Assistance Team.
I am told that Berlin airport is a big airport and flights from the UK arrive at terminal two. I am then told that you have to walk a fair distance to T1 to get transport to the town.
My questions are what is the Special Assistance team like in Berlin and if you book them do you just get taken to the entrance to T2 or will to the area to get your transport
