I found what looks like a lovely Air BnB in the Mitte section of Berlin. Is this a good area to stay in. We have never been there before, generally prefer walkable neighborhoods. Or, are there other you would recommend.

Mitte is in central Berlin, where most of the major sights are located. It's convenient, generally walkable, with very good public transportation. It may not be as quiet as you might like. A more specific location would get more useful answers, if you have one. I stayed near Hackescher Markt, which I believe is considered in Mitte, and was happy with the location.

How many days would you recommend we spend in Berlin.
