Berchtesgaden Lodging

Ramsau is a very small picturesque village just west of Berchtesgaden. We found Haus Mayringerlehen in the Travel Forum and reserved one night by email. My only regret is that we didn't stay two or three nights. The Grassl family owns and operates this delightful guest house/organic farm and it is wonderful! Rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast of locally sourced meats, cheese and fruits was absolutely wonderful. If you arrive by train, they will pick up and deliver at the train station or you can take a bus (15 mins from the Berchtesgaden Bahnhof). The family is delightful and very friendly! My highest recommendation and a great place to stay while exploring the most beautiful part of Bavaria! Stayed there in early September 2014.

Hi William,

We also loved our stays, 3 stays for a total of 10 nights, at the Pension Mayringerlehen. Can't wait to go back. The Berchtesgaden area is probably our favorite area in Bavaria.
