Bayern ticket in Zurich? Plus training from Salzburg to Prague?

You all have been so helpful, we've revamped our days based on your various comments. We're now thinking of training from Zurich to Salzburg. Can we get a Bayern ticket in Zurich? If not, what do you suggest -- buying a ticket into Landau and getting it there? We are also thinking of training from Salzburg to Prague for a day or so, then train back to Munich, spend a night or so, pick up a car there, then driving back to Bavaria, seeing the castles, towns, etc. then leaving the car in Landau, as was suggestion.. What are your thoughts on a base there? GaP or Fussen? Also, your thoughts on training to Prague. This is just a wild hair of the week, so you can be honest if you think we should not try it. We have been there, so we wouldn't be trying to see everything, just have a brief revisit. You all are super. Thanks for any suggestions.

Do you really mean Landau, or Lindau? There are several towns called Landau in Germany, one in Bavaria, but it's location, NE of Munich, makes me believe it's not the town you mean.

You seem confused. "back to Munich, spend a night or so, pick up a car there, then driving back to Bavaria" Munich is in Bavaria.

You can purchase a Bayern-Ticket online from literally anywhere in the world, but I doubt if ticket automats in Zürich would sell it. Ticket automats in Lindau would sell it.

When you go from Salzburg to Prague I would recommend to stop overnight in Cesky Krumlov. Going by train you would be changing trans in Linz and then Ceske Budejovice. Faster (but more expensive) is to use one of many shuttles from Linz to Cesky Krumlov or shuttle all the way from Salzburg to C.K. There are also shuttles from C.K. to Prague. More economical is Student Agency Bus so called Yellow Bus (it is really yellow). Going by train from C.K. to Prague is also possible by train with one change in Ceske Budejovice.
