Has anyone stayed here "recently"? I'm considering it for a stay this fall, and am having difficulty finding any reviews more recent than five or six years ago. Thanks for your input!

I have not stayed there but the Best Western Bamberg has gotten good reviews from several people on this forum (in the last year).

We stayed at City Hotel last Oct. and really liked it. Good location, super price, comfy beds.

Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately, neither are available for the September weekend when we will visit. I did find (and reserve) a two-bedroom apartment (we are traveling with another couple) at Hotel am Dom. It looks like September weekends in Bamberg will be busy!
