Bamberg lodging

I have stayed in Bamberg twice, but not near the train station which is a bit of a walk from the old town center. We liked the "Molitor" and "am Dom". When I am going to a new place I like to use HRS.Com. You can ask that the hotels be sorted by the distance from the Bahnhof (train station). I have found the HRS information, reviews and process helpful.

If you get a chance to stop by Schienkeria, it is across the street from Hotel Alt Ringlein. They serve smoked beer, it tastes like bacon, mmmm beer & bacon.
