Bamberg Hotel or B&B

I recently stayed at Hotel Am Dom, between the Cathedral and the bridge. Very nice basic rooms, breakfast is served at their hotel across the street. They have a small parking lot so reserve in advance if you are driving.

I've stayed at the Best Western Bamberg, which is in a great location, between train station and bridge, but you might check out the Faessla Brewery and B&B, which is just around the corner. Definitely quaint. I've talked to people who have loved staying there. I tried to eat there but it was totally full, not a single open chair. I ate across the street at Speziale; tried the famous rauchbier.

Last summer we stayed at Hotel Molitor. It's right in the area you are looking for. Bamberg is so very walkable. You can see most everything in a day. You'll love it.
