Bamberg Guided Walking Tour?

Any suggestions for a guided walking tour of Bamberg for a small group of 5? I checked the Bamberg tourism site and a 2 hour tour of the old town and cathedral is over €100, which if our group was larger would be fine; however I was hoping for something a bit cheaper per person as we are doing walking tours in 3-4 other towns.

The Bamberg historic area is very small and very easy to see on your own independent of a tour. We enjoyed just walking around, but I did print out some information from web ahead of time, so we knew what to go and see. It is a lovely and relaxing town to visit.

If you do a little research in advance, you should be able to put together your own tour of Bamberg. As Lola says, it's not a very big area. One thing to know, there is a ZOB (central bus station) in town. There is a bus stop across the street from the Bahnhof, and the bus goes into the ZOB from there. I was able to get to everything I wanted to see walking from the ZOB.

We were in Bamburg a few days ago. We just did our own exploring. Took the map of the town and wondered the streets. It had a good bit of information. We stuck primatially to the older portion Domberg Michaelsburg and Jakobserg. It's beautiful, but be ready for a bit of hill walking
