Bahn Train reservation in Munich

I have a reservation for 6 seats in 1st class on a Bahn Train for September 12th from Munich to Vienna. When will I receive my assigned seats and how do I know were to board the train?

If you have reserved seats, the seat numbers are on the the ticket.

Should look something like this example for 2 seat reservations.
2 Sitzplätze, Wg. 263, Pl. 61 62, 2 Fenster,

Wg 263 is the carriage number, Pl 61 62 are the seat numbers, 2 Fenster shows they are both window seats facing each other.

There should be an electronic indicator above the platform showing the train diagram and what section, A, B, C, D, etc to stand to be close to your carriage.

This is what is on my ticket - 6 seats, Wg. 26, Pl. 71-76, table, large room - Are these my seat assignments and the train car number?

One minor thing to avoid confusion when in Germany: "Bahn" just means Train. The company is Deutsche Bahn (German Rail) or DB

So the Autobahn is a train. Who would have guessed?. Looks like a highway to me.

Added: I think a better translation of Bahn is a "way" (Railway or Roadway), a means of transit.

Bahn is the short form of Eisenbahn, literally translated 'iron way' = railway/railroad. There are several bahns in German, e.g. Autobahn, Eislaufbahn, Bobbahn, Schießbahn (highway, ice rink, bob run, shooting range).

I thought that the literal translation of the word Bahn was 'track' which is how you can have an Autobahn.

But that is just my schoolboy German. And this is a diversion from the OP's actual question.

"Way" is a good translation. Eg a one way street is a "Einbahnstrasse", and "Seilbahn" gets often translated as "ropeway", especially in the industry.

John Roebling, a Saxon immigrant, who invented the cable, called it "wire rope".
