Bagshuttle at Frankfurt airport - have you used them?

I've just found an interesting option for managing my arrival day in Frankfurt (not till next June.) Frankfurt airport advertises a private service called bagshuttle.com, which will take your bag from the airport to your hotel so you can do other things before heading to your hotel. It's not super cheap (€40) but might be a nice treat so I can squeeze in a bit of sightseeing or a meal without my luggage before the hotel's later check-in time.

I know you can do this all over Switzerland with sbb, but I haven't seen this in Germany before. Is anyone familiar with this outfit and if you used it, did it work out well for you? I hunted for reviews online but didn't find any.

I could just take my bag to the Hauptbahnhof, store it there and be on my way - cheaper and not difficult. Just looking at alternatives. Of course it's a small carry-on only.

I think it is rather expensive.
For that price you could take a taxi to your hotel and drop off your bag. They will store your bag until time for check in.

If you want to sightsee, store your carry on in the luggage lockers at the Hauptbahnhof. Price is 3-5€ depending on the size of your bag. You can get an all day ticket from the airport that will be valid in Frankfurt for 9.35€. (2017 price) Add this to your locker cost and you are still under 15€, rather than 40€.

agreed, it's too expensive and unnecessary. I suspect it's for business people attending trade fairs with large boxes/sample cases. The whole point of traveling light is to be able to manage your luggage without stress, which I can. I just got a little carried away with a new piece of information. Thanks for the tune-up.
