Autumn in Munich

What is the weather typically like in Munich, late October early November?
Is it still comfortable for sightseeing or is it bitter cold at this point?

We were in Munich late October a couple years ago and it was beautiful with the leaves turning and less crowds. We needed a light jacket and one day a heavier coat but it was a great time to go! We did have a couple drizzly periods of light rain for an hour or so but mostly sunshine.

I don't think I can remember ever being "bitter" cold in Munich, but the time you're looking at is mostly going to be cool with rain. It's a really good time to visit!

Hi, my partner and I just returned from Munich and Salzburg and we had great weather...everything from sunny and hot, to cool with a touch of rain, to downright chilly! I found it's best to check out metoffice(dot)gov(dot)uk for weather forecasts. It's far more accurate for weather in Europe that any of the accuweather or weather dot com sights. And just be prepared...rain poncho, scarf, gloves, etc. Have a great time...Munich and the whole area is phenomenal! You'll have such a nice time!
