As an American, am I able to purchase a Blauworld SIM card?

Visiting Germany in October but am unclear if I am able to purchase a Blauworld SIM card for my unlocked iPhone 4s if I am not a German resident.

I would like to purchase their Mobile-Internet-Flat 5 GB. Can I simply walk in to one of the many locations that sells Blauworld products and purchase the plan I want, or do I need to figure out a way to circumvent the system?

I bought a data sim card & air time for my ipad air at a T-Mobile store in Frankfurt a few months ago, no problems. Even though it was a small sale for them, they were very helpful. I don't recall them asking for my passport.
