Art Hotel in Magdeburg?

No to your question, so I can't help there. In July 2009 I spent a week-end in Magdeburg, very interesting, explored, did a ton of walking. There are also the commie style apt buildings that take up a block, those ugly Mietskasernen. Like Dresden Magdeburg is also a city where you can walk across the Elbe.

Thanks for the reply! I'll likely be there for an overnight, plus I'll have time to walk around, and finding that it's a Hundertwasser building is a wonderful surprise. (I had intended to overnight in Hannover, but there's a huge trade fair and my go-to hotel is charging 500 euro!)
