In 2008 I won a trip to Munich and I was met at the airport by a man in baggage area holding a sign to take us to the Hotel and at the end of our trip we were met at the hotel and taken back to the Munich Airport. It was a wonderful way to get into and out of Munich and in places that it was legal, we were driving along at 120 mph, so we made good time. Since everything was part of the package that I won, I didn't catch the name of the company that transferred me back and forth from and to the Airport.
Has anyone here used a transfer car to get from you Hotel to the Munich Airport and would you recommend the company that transferred you?
I realize that I could take the U-Bahn to the inner city and catch a bus or train to the Airport, but we'll be leaving the Hotel at 06:30 as it is if we're picked up at the Hotel and really don't want to make it earlier.
My friend and I will be splitting the cost of the car and since our last couple weeks in Europe will be in Munich and surrounding areas, my friend and I each plan on buying larger suit cases for souvenirs in Munich that will be checked on our trip home and we don't want to be lugging them and our carry-on's as well as our personal bags for our electronics and cameras, etc.
Can anyone recommend a good transfer service to get to the Munich Airport that you have used in Munich?
