Going to be staying in Vaihingen area for a few days soon. Can anyone recommend good German restaurants in the area that can be easily accessed without a car? ( Will be staying at both Marriott and Pullman hotels).
Also, does anyone have an idea how far the Marriott hotel is from the Vaihingen train station?

It is 1 mile from Sindelfingen S-bahn station and about the same to Goldberg S-bahn station. Goldberg looks like it has trains to Stuttgart Hbf every 15 minutes and it takes 23 minutes to Stuttgart. Sindelfingen often requires a transfer and takes 35 to 50 minutes, and they go every 30 minutes.
