Any Advance tickets required for Frankfurt/Berlin or Munich?

Heading to Germany 10/6/16 for a week. We did secure tickets for Reichstag in Berlin, but am wondering if there are any other places/sites we should be securing tickets to/for in any of those cities in advance. We have transportation/housing arranged in Germany. Sightseeing mainly in Berlin and Munich and a day river cruise on the Rhine. Thanks for any help.

There were hour-long lines at some of the Museuminseln museums when I was in Berlin last July, but I'm not sure there's a way to avoid them. I had a pass, but I still had to stand in line. The museums are all large, and I didn't find them uncomfortably crowded once I got inside.

A tip: As of last year many German museums required that all bags be checked, including ladies' purses. When lockers were used, the usual fee was 1 euro, so it's helpful to have some of those coins. The lockers also took 2-euro coins, but they did not give change.

Crowding was an issue at the DDR Museum and the House at Checkpoint Charlie (both of which I found very interesting). The ticket-purchasing lines were not long, however.

Museuminseln is Museumsinsel . . . aka Museum Island. I got timed entry tickets in advance.
