We will be in Amberg in about 2 weeks for a couple days. We are staying in the town center near the train station. Any recommendations for casual, good restaurants? We prefer Germany or Italian Food.

It's been awhile since I last visited Amberg. We like the Café Baroco (Bavarian Roasting Company) for coffee. Near by is/was the Wild-Vaitl with a beer garden in the back. Rußwurmhaus was OK. I was a little disappointed with the food at the Bruckmüller Bräuwirtshaus.
