Airline seats reservations Lufthansa and Austrian Air

We are planning a trip to Austria and France this Fall. Having pored over seat maps and the Seat Guru comments regarding the plane configurations, I felt good that I was able to reserve seats that fit our needs. I paid extra for Premium Economy. I realize that changes to airplanes can occur due to unforeseen problems. However I'm wondering if anyone has had problems with seat assignments changing on particular airlines more than others. For example, we've flown on United several times and no problem. But Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines make a point to say, thanks for making a reservation for a "seat character" (presumably aisle vs window), but they may need to make changes. Here's the verbiage on my confirmation. United doesn't offer this language on their portion of the confirmation. Maybe LH and AA are just being extra transparent?

Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.

I’ve recently flown Austrian Air and if they change your seat, you can just pick another one—in the same price category.

I usually book my flights about 10 months out and the airline (my experience is with Austrian and Swiss Air) will sometimes change planes prior to the flight, which results in seat changes. I’ve had no problem going in and changing my seats.

I've flown with quite a few airlines and never had a problem with seat assignment apart from the good old Alitalia. They were pretty rubbish at it.

We had an issue when we booked through the Lufthansa site, but the plane was operated by United. We were assigned different seats (and I didn't catch that this was happening), and my sister had no seat assigned on United, until she noticed it a day or two before the flight.
