Hi, we are traveling to Munich in December. We have stayed in vacation rentals in Paris, London and Scotland. We prefer them. My concern in Germany is the language. Any thoughts? Thanks!

We’ve been to Germany three times, and I’m embarrassed to say that we never once had to use a lick of German.
If you are apprehensive about the AirBnB, perhaps make sure that you book one with self check-in? I also think the listings specify what languages the host speaks.

I don't care what county I'm in I always stay in Airbnb's. I have google translate on my phone if necessary, which it rarley is. J

I usually stay in guesthouses but stayed at an AirBNB for a week on the Rhine a few years ago. The host spoke perfect English.
