Husband and I are thinking of Prague for a few days upon leaving Vienna at tour end. Any suggestions or better choices?

I visited Prague and a few other sites in the Czech Republic in 2012. It's a magical place. Frozen in time and easy to see on foot. It's incredibly affordable. 2 beers and a dinner of goulash -- $17 USD. There are English tours you can join at Wenceslas Square that I recommend. If not, Salzburg is equally magical. A beautiful city and lovely place to visit.

We're booked on the GAS tour that begins Sept 7. We're spending 2 nights in Bacharach before the tour begins and 3 nights in Prague at the end of the tour. We plan to take a train from Vienna to Prague and fly home from Prague.
