I am planning to travel from US to either Berlin or Budapest with my son for Christmas markets. Other than food are all christmas ornament and other stores open after Christmas or do they close?

Is your priory visiting Christmas markets or visiting one of those cities? If your priority is Xmas markets, Vienna has several which are open past Dec 24. Sorry to change the topic. Have a magical trip!
