After a 9 day Moselle bike trip, we have three nights to enjoy. I am looking for advice of where to go for a few days. We would like to stay in one city after 9 different hotels. Our first thought was Heidelberg, however, we love France and thought of going there as well. Then again, there is Luxembourg. So many choices! I would like suggestions please of how to spend our last few days in the area, We fly out of Frankfurt.

Heidelberg would be a sensible choice for three nights, not far from FRA.

Heidelberg would be a good choice.
I think that Würzburg would also be a nice choice. You could day trip to Bamberg, Coburg, Nürnberg, Iphofen, Rothenburg, Ochsenfurt, Marktbreit, etc. by train for variety.
