Seeking accommodations for three adults and two kids in Fussen. Most all hotels I have researched appear booked (I guess I'm late in the game). I would prefer an apartment situation, and was wondering if any suggestions on apartments or accommodations you could suggest. Open to any suggestions or alternatives as well for the area. We are staying for five nights in June.

Maybe you stay a little farther out like the Hopfensee. Swimming for the kids and restaurants and café within walking distance. Check on Ferienwohnung (apartments). We stayed on the Hopfensee in May ten years ago, but unfortunately had too much rain. We stayed at Haus Hubertus. The roof leaked and it needed care. Apparently it has been completely renovated and is now Haus "Gohlke am See" I believe there is regular bus service to Füssen.

Here's a good website for you. Just type in your dates, choose the number of people and bedrooms. You should find something for June. Hopfen (nice walk around the lake) and Schwangau are other options:
