Traveling to Munich, Berchtesgaden, garmisch-partenkirchen, and rothenburg areas. Looking for recommendations for places to stay that work well for families (our children are 12, 15, 18). Will have a car so staying outside of cities is not a problem as long as not too remote. Thanks!

How long will you stay at each place?
For more than 2 nights you can easily find holiday appartments in Berchtesgaden and Garmisch area for ex

I found when planning a trip for 5 that many family run / smaller hotels have family apartments that they may not advertise on their website. I emailed places that looked intriguing and had no trouble finding places. Sorry none of them were in the places you are planning.

Just spent lots of time finding places for a family of 5; in Munich the Hotel am Viktualienmarkt has an apartment for a family, they only mentioned it because I asked.
