A Day & Dinner in Frankfurt

Hi,

We're arriving in Frankfurt on Saturday night, wake up Sunday, and attend the NFL football game at 3:30 on Sunday. Leaving Frankfurt Monday.
We're in our 50's, fit, and enjoy good food (and beer) , wine, museums, architecture, and history. Also interested in walking/strolling parts of the city. We're staying within walking distance of Frankfurt Hochst station. Our time is obviously VERY limited, but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for a must-see experience for Frankfurt on a Sunday morning and a recommendation for good local food/beer pub.
Thanks,

Höchst has some great restaurants, all sitting up on top of the city wall, and looking out a the small palace. Try Zum Bären, Alte Zollwache or Zum Schwan. You can walk in the dry moat that surrounds the palace, but you should really visit the Justinus church there, as well as the garden behind it. This church was built around 840 and though it has additions, the original church is still there. The garden has a tower you can visit and information about the Antoniter monks who lived here and who found a cure for Ergotism. I would also go to St. Josephs, as it has a cool, art-deco interior. Built in 1909, it is one of 99 churches that Kaiser Wilhelm II had built during his reign.

Of course you can take the train into Frankfurt, but it is tough to visit any of the churches on Sun. until afternoon. You could visit the Karmeliter Cloister with wall paintings from the 1500s, or perhaps some museums, or the Jewish Holocaust Remembrance Wall?
