Hello- is anyone posting who got a ticket using the alternative apps in Germany and using the ticket?
I see that very long thread. Thanks , I read it but it seems like a lot of people are having issues.

Thanks so much Sam and sla019! I got it thanks to you. Bought on the FarPlaner app! Got a receipt and it says it’s downloading my ticket which will begin June 1!
Yeah- that’s a huge savings- just hoping it’s not as busy as last year’s 9 euro ticket. The trains were cheap but packed! Thought I was going to have to sit on the roof a couple of times 😉.

I do not think that it will come often to situations like last year with the 9€ ticket, because the DT is too expensive for fun rides. On my ride yesterday across Upper Bavaria, I had a whole car to myself.

Thanks. Just one more question. Do you know if the DT ticket is accepted for Salzburg? I know that the Bavaria land pass works there but don’t know if this ticket will.

Yes, it is good on the regional trains to Salzburg from Germany
BTW, from your previous post, its the Fahrplaner app from the VBN.

I know that the Bavaria land pass works there but don’t know if this ticket will.
Like The Bayern Ticket the DT is valid until Salzburgs main station but not for urban transport within Salzburg.

I purchased my Deutschland ticket from MVG with a start date of June 1 and downloaded the MVGO app. Today my Handy Ticket showed up on the App.
Question: Can I use the Deutschland ticket from Basel SBB into Germany or do I have to pay first leg of trip within Switzerland?

I believe you have to pay for a ticket from Basel SBB to Basel Badischer Bahnhof on the other side of town. Its a 3.80 CHF ticket.

or if you have a tram pass - often provided gratis by Basel hotels - it will cover you all over Basel including to and from Basel Bad Bf.

A question about cancellation.
I only need the ticket for the month of June.
I have the Handy Ticket.
I haven't been billed for the June month yet.
I know I have to cancel my subscription before June 10th to prevent it from continuing.
How soon can I cancel my current subscription to still have my June pass, but not be extended into July?
