3hr stopover doable? Munich Train Station & Augustiner Keller

I am looking at breaking up our train journey between Salzburg & Mainz with a short 3hr stopover in Munich. (We will have already spent 6 nights earlier in Munich before heading to Salzburg) We are traveling with our 11yr & 14yr old daughters. This would be on Saturday, June 24 arriving in Munich at 10:37 & departing to Mainz at 13:46.
Our stopover in Munich was with the idea of storing our carryon luggage at the train station & walking over to Augustiner Keller for a beer and some food. I "think" this would be plenty of time to grab some beer & food at the self service stalls and still make our connection onward to Mainz. Could anyone with experience of either doing something similar or familiar with Augstiner Keller & Munich Central Station lend any insight?

According to Google Maps, it's only an 8 minute walk from the Hbf to Augustiner Keller. There are lockers right off the end of track 26 in the main hall of the Munich Hbf and that's on your way out the north entrance to Anufstrasse.

it is very doable. We visited there on our last trip to Munich. Just make sure to have good map and directions.

Very doable and great idea. There is also a tram (#17) that runs from in front of the train station and goes right by Augustiner Keller. You would be pushing it, but you could actually take the tram out to the Hirschgarten too if you wanted to. They have an excellent food arcade and also serve Augustiner beer.
