Hi All, would love to get some feedback on the Salzburg part of our Germany/Austria itinerary (thanks so much everyone for all of the help so far). Again It is me, my wife (in our 30s) and 6-month daughter. I know when the moment comes, we might have to drop a lot of things, but I would like to keep this as a template for things we would like to hit. We're staying in Krone 1512 hotel in the new town (any feedback about the hotel or area we're staying?)
Tuesday June 23rd (arrive at 2pm from Munich by train)
Mozart Residence
Walk around old town and view some sights (Rick Steves walk)
Mozart birthplace
Wednesday June 24th
Sound of music tour with Panorama
pickup car and drive to Berchestgaden
Salt mines (is it worh it? maybe drop it depending on time)
bunker and Eagle's nest
Thursday June 25th
Halstatt all day with car (any recommendations here)
drop off car
Fortress concert (we really wanna do this, but don't know how with the baby, any tips from parents?)
Friday June 26th
Salzburg Museum or fortress
leave at 2pm towards Fussen.
Given this site seeing is it worth it getting any of the salsburg cards? Thanks in advance
