Lufthansa just changed my flight from NYC to Palermo and now they added a transfer in Munich. I will be coming from Frankfurt on Lufthansa. There is only 1 hour between transfers in Munich. Is that enough time? There is an alternative flight in which I arrive later with a 4 hour transfer but if everyone agrees that 1 hour in Munich is enough I will take the chance and leave it. Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

Yes, done transfers in Munich with less than an hour, and that was to a flight to USA. Since you already went through immigration in Frankfurt, it is just a matter of walking to your new gate.

Yes, you’ll make your connection. Your landing gate is no doubt near your departure gate or Lufthansa wouldn’t have made the change- in the end Lufthansa is on the hook to get you to you Palermo on the same day so don’t mess with the flights they have arranged.

If all goes well you are scheduled to have one hour between flights. Check the flightaware web site for recent on-time information. Here is a link for flight LH104 & it's 12 most recent flights. More than enough. your immigration is done in Frankfurt (the zoo). nothing to worry - IF your flight is on time.
of course, like Going234 says, check flightaware web site for recent on-time information.
