RS discourages visits to Wiesbaden (between Cologne and Frankfurt), but we've found it to be nice place for a night or two stay. The Fontana Hotel has comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and wonderful breakfasts with a truly astounding array of nice choices. Located on the Kurpark with easy walking access to central Wiesbaden, and easy-to-use bus system only a few steps away. Especially friendly, professional, helpful staff, all with a good sense of humor. Best prices on weekends.
