I'm planning a trip to Europe for end of summer/start of autumn and in between visits to some favourite places in Austria (Wilder Kaiser and the Salzkammergut) am considering a short stop in Bad Reichenhall. I've visited Berchtesgaden a few times before and always admired Bad Reichenhall when passing through, but have never spent any time there.
Any recommendations for where to stay? I'll be travelling without a car so am looking for somewhere walking distance from the centre.
