Traditional german dinner recommendation, with music, in the Prenzlauer Berg area of berlin

I'd appreciate any recommendations for an authentic German dinner in the Prenzlauer Berg region of Belin that might also have live music. We will be there on a Friday and Saturday evening in June.

Berlin is one of the cities we have lived in in Europe so I can make some suggestions. There are loads of restaurants in the Prenzlauer Berg area serving everything cuisine but traditional German but we've tried two that do specialize in traditional German meals.

The first is Zum Schusterjungen at Danziger St. 9 in the Prenzlauer Berg area. They offer huge servings of traditional German food for low prices.

The second is Imbiss 204 located at Prenzlaur Alee 204. Again, huge portions of authentic German food at prices from $3-$15 (American dollars). It belongs to two Michelin Star Chefs who decided they wanted to leave the expensive restaurants and start their own small place to serve authentic German meals at reasonable prices.

Neither is fancy but the food is excellent, the staff friendly, portions are large, and this is where Germans eat German food in the area.
The buildings aren't gorgeous but the food is delicious and you'll meet friendly Germans.

The only places I have heard live music in the area is the park over next to the remnants of the old Berlin wall on Sundays when the place is loaded with artists and musicians (a slice of German life) and at Troubadour Modern Minstrels whose performances I highly recommend. It is at Danziger St. 101. Check out their website to see upcoming performances. www.troubadour.de.com They have a performance June 12.

Thanks for this pertinent information. Good to know. And who says you can't get German cuisine, that gute deutsche bürgerliche Küche in Berlin?
