We will be arriving in Munich, HBF, from Paris, traveling on to Budapest, We will be getting into Munich in the evening. We are looking for a restaurant for dinner near the train station. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Directly across the street from the main RR station on the Arnulfstrasse is the Eden Wolff Hotel. Their restaurant is very good.

That's on the other side of the station. One side is Bayerstrasse where the big Burger King and Reisebank are, the other side (opposite) is Arnulfstrasse, where the Lufthansa bus can be boarded.
How fancy a restaurant do you need? There is a food court, with seating, in the Hbf, just off the end of the tracks, with a variety of food shops.
