Quiet Hostel in Berlin?

Just a non-party hostel in Berlin which I can meet fellow travelers on a 4 night trip. I'm not a big club guy and would like a decent night sleep. Most of my time would be sightseeing, eating out and bed by midnight (don't laugh) I'm in my late 30s but age is not a real concern. I'd get Airbnb or something but then I'd be basically alone the whole time. I saw maybe EastSeven is a good choice for what I am looking for? Thanks!

We had a great stay at the Circus Hotel a few years ago. It's in a wonderful location. Across the street from the Hotel is its other property, the Circus Hostel. I don't know how it would be for noise, partying, but it seems to get good reviews. You might want to check it out.

Hi,

I would say forget Airbnb.

For a non-party hostel I would suggest the HI hostel closest to the "center" at least it says that of itself on Kluckstrasse, which serves a hot dinner. In 2009 that was 6 Euro something.

I travel solo in Berlin too, 30 years your senior. but stay in a 2 star Pension, a few minutes from a S-Bahn station, going directly to Berlin Hbf. I turn in by midnight too, thereabouts, otherwise I would be too late for breakfast in the Pension...no sleeping in.

Avoid AirBnB - they cannot assure that a booked apartment is still there when you arrive. They really ruined that business in Germany's major cities, acting inresponsible towards customers and communities.

For your age group Prenzlauer Berg is a good idea, also around hostel you mentioned. A good breakfast you will get at well known Anna Blume. In th evening you can stroll around Kulturbrauerei and Kastanienallee.

To avoid exploring Berlin alone a walking tour is a good experience.
