One Week Itinerary in Munich in June

I will be at a conference in Munich the end of June and my spouse is looking for a 1 week itinerary including sites in Munich and potential 1 day excursions. Looking for suggestions. Prefer using public transportation instead of renting a car. What kind of itinerary would you suggest?
