We will be in Nuremberg for two nights next December to visit the Christmas market. I am wanting restaurant recommendations for restaurants to sit with a group of 6-8 to enjoy some authentic German meals. Does not have to be high end, just a nice atmosphere with good food. We will be staying near the train station, so something located between theMarket and the train station would be convenient.

We go to Nuremberg for the markets every other year. The market itself sells amazing sausage rolls and potatoes pancakes.
The Rick Steves Germany book recommends Bratwursthausle for made in house and cooked on beechwood (Rathausplatz1).
He has several recommendations in his Germany book.
