We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in late November (2025). I booked it through American Express because I could use a hotel credit for the stay.
Overall it was a nice hotel. It was very convenient to the train station. Look for the Arnulfstraße street exit. If you go out the correct exit the hotel is directly across the street. Despite the closeness to the train station we had no issues with noise in the hotel room. The room was nice and check in was pretty easy. Always bring confirmation numbers. I had booked 3 nights, two via American Express and one via Capital One to use up hotel credits and the lady had issues finding my Cap One booking until I gave her the confirmation number. We were able to stay in the same room for all 3 nights.
Although it probably wasn't, the hotel seemed to me to be a bit more "hip" but I think it was due to the red carpet outside the entrance and the lighting in the lobby. Nothing unusual in the room. Normal bathroom doors (i.e not any of the semi-transparent bathroom doors some places have).
We did not use the restaurant or any other amenities the hotel had. We liked the convenience to the train station to make travel easy on the trains and the S-bahn. Also being close to the station meant there were a lot of shops to pick up drinks, snacks, etc.
Previous stays in Munich often landed us in the Hilton Munich City (Rosenheimer Str. 15). That one is right above an s-bahn stop and about 3 miles SE of the NH Collection hotel and was also a solid hotel choice.
