I recommend that you choose lodging that is within your budget range for this trip and has the features that you prefer -- there should also be space that matches the size of your party and their particular requirements. It's also nice when the atmosphere is one that you enjoy.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu. Big business hotel, no local charm but good breakfast, good location, good air conditioning (for August.) Walked to the train station with our rolling luggage - not "close" but "reasonable."
