My husband and I are planning to spend 6 nights in Regensburg in late July. Any recommendations for value priced lodging in the city center or within easy walking distance? We're thinking a hotel at less than $100 per night.

I stayed at a small hotel in Regensburg which has been redone, refurbished, new name, etc. It's ca 4-6 mins from the station called Hotel am Peterstor on Fröhliche Türken Strasse going into the center (Innenstadt)...very recommendable. It was called "Weisse Lilie" when I was there. This hotel fits your criteria.
